Hi Kristian,
I am having an issue while installing maven after cloning the project. I am currently using java version 8.  I have been working with graphWalker for research purposes and generated some tests using GW CLI, but it is printing the test result on CLI. I just want to know if GW also generate file containing the result? Moreover, I also want to ask if we use shared models representing SUT, is it possible to share data between models? as I am not able to generate test using the output of one model as an input to another model in GW.

Thanks!

Hi,

There is no results file generated. When using the CLI tool, results are printed to std output.

To share data between models, the data must have  global. prepended, like:
global.myData = true;

If you are able to share you models, and the command options you are using, I'm happy to help.
Hera are som tips for getting help.

Thanks for the Response Kristian.

It resolved the shared model problem. I will let you know if I have some query regarding GW.

Hi Kristian,
I have downloaded the newer version of GraphWalker and running the offline tests on shared models. But somehow in newer version, I am getting an error regarding the global prefix (ReferenceError: global is not defined). However, the same shared models are working fine with previous version (4.2.0). Are there some modifications required in the models while running the tests with newer version? PS: I am having same error in GraphWalker Studio 4.3.0 and same model working fine with GraphWalker Studio 4.2.0.

Hi,

Could you share the model you are using, and also share the complete command line you are using running it?

Hi,

There is a proposed fix for the problem: https://github.com/GraphWalker/graphwalker-project/issues/249

Hi,
From which version of graphwalker does the global variable works online? I use 4.0.0 and it does not work and throws an error. Can i use 4.2.0?

Thanks,
Siva
