Welcome to the GraphTerm group/mailing list. This is a forum for posting release announcements as well as general discussion of issues relating to GraphTerm. (To prevent automated spam, the first post from any newly joined member will be moderated.)

After an initial flurry of bug fixes and feature additions, GraphTerm has reached a plateau of usability, although it is still in alpha phase. Questions and comments are welcome!

Hi Guys am all new to GraphTerm looks good but i tried to install on 64 Debian Wheezy but the server gtermserver is not working socket.error [Errno 99] cannot assign requested address

Please help

The error message means that some other process is already listening on the port requested by graphterm.

What port are you using for graph term? The default port is 8900. Ports < 1024 require you to run graph term as root.

The message will also appear if you try to run graphterm a second time without terminating the first process. Use "ps -ef | grep germserver" to check if graphterm is already running.
