hi all.

For Wednesday, I will give a general introduction to data centers, and
talk about 1 of the first papers on data center topologies.

For Thursday, we'll talk about 1 paper on new data center
architectures, and 1 paper on using multiple execution systems
(mapreduce, dryad, etc) on the same data center.

Please remember that on Thursday, each group will give a short
presentation on their research idea. Please prepare a short
presentation for 5-10 minutes that describes your idea and why it's
interesting. We will discuss these projects in class.

Of course, since Thursday is double length, that will be the end of
the class, and there will be no class on Friday...
