I put a few thoughts down in the GraphFrames Wiki about how types might work in GraphFrames and how property graphs are currently mapped by munging all their fields. Just wanted to solicit feedback in case anyone else has more ideas here. I haven't thought through implementation yet, trying to define how it would work first.
