Problem with itemcf

Hi,

I got a problem with itemcf, namely a segmentation fault on my dataset. 

The dataset contains currently 33974 users, 154281 items and 153182 observations. 

The strange thing is that if I reverse users and items, then itemcf works perfectly ???

Is it required that itemcf needs more users than items ?
