Grant Park Security Patrol (GPSP)
CARjACKING-PEDESTRIAN ROBBERY

At 8 last night there was a carjacking and possible pedestrian robbery on Boulevard between Berne and Rosalia. Our Grant Park Security Patrol officer was patrolling on Woodward and arrived on the scene within a minute. There were multiple 911 calls. At this time we are not sure if the calls referred to one or multiple incidents.

Officers from zone 6 responded and were in the area looking for suspects. The stolen car was a VW Passat. The suspects are 2 young black males one possibly wearing a white hoodie.

We will get more details today and pass along that information.

STOLEN KIDS BIKES: Our GPSP officer responded to a call about an older man carrying a child's bike. The man was observed by a neighbor on Milledge at Grant and he called 911. We are attempting to locate the owner of the bike. It's a young child's bike with training wheels. It's white in color and a Novara model. The suspect was uncooperative and resisted the officers instructions so he was arrested. He said he picked up the bike on Cherokee but could not point out a specific location.

A second bike was stolen from behind a house on Atlanta near Boulevard. It's a Trek model.

Please secure valuables.

Thanks to all GPSP members for your support. Be alert and aware of your surroundings and always call 911 if you see suspicious activity.
