Smartcare technology connects hundreds of thousands of parents to preschools, early childhood learning programs, before and after care programs, daycares, enrichment programs, and more. Every interaction tells a story of the impact our clients are making in the communities they serve.

Smartcare acquires Childcare Manager, one of the most respected brands in the childcare management software industry, gaining team members with invaluable experience and a customer base with years of proven success.

Smartcare acquires Preschool2Me, a leading provider of lesson planning, curriculum and assessments as well as after school care solutions. The new features allow us to move closer to our vision as an all-inclusive platform for childcare providers.

Smartcare is acquired by Vanco, a leading technology and payment solutions provider for the education, faith-based, and nonprofit sectors. Both our teams and our technology combine to deliver even better features and exceptional customer service to child care providers.

Smartcare, Preschool2Me, and Childcare Manager officially become Vanco Child Care, a holistic suite of tools that combines the best of the old brands into a new, comprehensive childcare management platform.

Complete, timely, and accurate encounter data are critical to risk-adjusting provider payments to account for health differences in patient populations enrolled in California HMOs. Yet, provider payment incentives, multiple data handoffs and variation in data collection hamper exchange of encounter data among contracting parties, ultimately impacting HMO enrollment.

As evidence that standardizing encounter data is a statewide imperative, the California Department of Managed Health Care included community investments to improve completeness and accuracy of encounter data as a requirement for the approval of the Centene acquisition of Health Net.

IHA is committed to sharing knowledge, resources, and lessons learned from payment reform efforts through issue briefs and other publications for both policymakers and practitioners. Available resources, most of which were released in 2013 when the initiative concluded, are included below.

Maternity care is suitable for a bundled payment strategy based on high volume, high costs, and a defined episode of care. Unlike fee-for-service reimbursement, which pays providers for each service, bundled payment combines services provided during a defined episode of care into a single, fixed payment rate. Bundled payment creates financial incentives for providers and hospitals to be more accountable for efficiency and coordination across care settings. Connected-care and remote patient monitoring solutions, enabling people to enjoy the comfort of aging at home & active lives with full confidence, ensuring their own well-being and peace of mind for their loved ones.

Our fundamental pursuit is to help healthcare move beyond legacy single-point solutions by building an Ambiently-Aware Artificial Intelligence Platform that is tirelessly committed to supporting care teams and patients every hour of every day.

care.ai smart patient rooms, emergency rooms and operating rooms use a combination of sensors, automated systems, and artificial intelligence to create a more responsive and personalized healthcare environment.

care.ai sensors are always learning and always improving, securely sharing that learning from one sensor to the next. Many networked AI brains act together as one to serve and protect clinicians and patients.

Instead of latent and often erroneous information trapped in the EHR, now Smart Care Teams have real-time awareness. The Command Center automatically suggests where attention and available resources should be applied.

Ambient Intelligence and AI help automate and virtualize administrative tasks, allowing more time for the bedside clinical team to work at the top of their licenses and provide more timely moments of compassionate care.

Ambient Sensors and AI monitor clinical and operational workflows and coordinate care teams to ensure continual process adherence and improvement, eliminating ineffective and costly recurrent training programs.

The smartCARE Consortium will begin by identifying the needs of cancer survivors and support the app developer, the Bilbomatica Consortium, in building the prototype and bringing the vision to reality.

Block your calendar for the day after the European Cancer Summit. Leaders in oncology, patient advocacy and policymakers will meet for lively panel discussions and in-depth exchanges on the lessons and opportunities from our flagship EU4Health project.

A huge thank you to all who completed the smartCARE survey! We truly appreciate the time and generous efforts taken by cancer patients, survivors and carers to help us reach our target of 1,000+ responses.

These insights will be critical to the project as they will help define long term recommendations of the smartCARE app and ultimately improve the end product aimed at people living with cancer. The results will be presented at the European Cancer Summit 2024.

The project held its official kick-off event on 28-29 March in Brussels with Steering Committee Co-Chairs, ECO President-Elect Csaba Dgi, and EU Cancer Mission Board Member Penilla Gunther.

The launch also included a session at the European Parliament hosted by MEP Istvn Ujhelyi, a member of our National & European Parliamentarians for Cancer Action group, and co-chaired by Penilla Gunther and Csaba Dgi. You can read more about the event here.
