gdsflex plugin code hosting

Hi William,

 

I noticed you had a look at the gdsflex / Grails 2.0 bugs. I would love to track any commits you do, perhaps even attempt to do something myself.

 

However, the current SVN repository is now read-only because Springsource no longer offers plugin code hosting, they have asked everyone to migrate their code to GitHub or whatever. Could you please migrate the gdsflex project code over to your GitHub account so that others can follow what's going on and possibly contribute?

Hi John,

After reading some docs on the Grails site, I still don't have a clue how to release a plugin with the new process. 

In the mean time, I've put the project on GitHub on http://github.com/graniteds/grails-gdsflex.

The current master works fine with Grails 2.0.3, I will try to release it just after we have released GraniteDS 2.3.2.

Thanks for putting it on GitHub. Great to hear master is working with Grails 2.0.3.

 

The link to the instructions on releasing plugins is kind of hidden in the user guide. You need to follow this wiki page: http://grails.org/Creating+Plugins.

William, I tried the master from Github with Grails 2.0.4 (just released) and I'm getting the same errors as before, i.e. http://www.graniteds.org/jira/browse/GDSFLEX-34. Which makes sense, since Github shows no changes in the last 7 months. Did you commit your changes?
