Is there a way to access the documents that are attached to a clip in the "minutes" tab in MediaManager through the API?  These are not exactly Minutes, but simply the list of documents attached to an archived clip.  I would like to be able to upload the files and download them as well through the API.

I'm not hearing anything, so I thought I'd ask another question.  If I can't attach multiple documents to a clip through the API, can I attach documents to an agenda item through the api?  Multiple would be preferred, but can I attach even one?

Hi sara,

You should be able to by setting the agenda type to 'linked' and the agenda URL to the location of the doc.

Right now there is no way to set multiple docs via the API :(

I'm not sure if you understood my question, but I found an answer.  I can attach documents to an agenda item through the API.  I just create a document class and set the Location field to the place on the internet where I have already posted the document.  Worked similar to a linked agenda or minutes document.

My new plan is to create a dummy item on each agenda called "Related Documents".   I will publish all documents on our site and then I will attach links to all related documents for a committee in the agenda item.  It's not a great solution, but it appears to be my only option at the moment.

Can you describe what you would like to be able to do? Also can you send me a link to the finished product once it's up?

I definitely want to understand this better so that I might be able to help.

Attach a document to an agenda item using the API.  I'm only using test documents at the moment, but if you look in our Training folder at Test Meeting 450 for 4/10/2012 you will see my primary test clip that I'm trying to add or get everything from.  If you look at the agenda items, you will see one that has multiple documents attached.  The one called Sara Test is the one I added using the API.  It just links to www.le.utah.gov because I don't have any actual files out on our website yet, but if it works for that site, it should work for any site I put out there.

Ok. Got it. And ideally you would want to upload vs link it?
