Due to this reason with HTTPS scanning Splashtop may not work behind the XG and as in work-around, you need to add the Splashtop Web URL in bypass via FQDN based rule or with web exception rule with separate category guided by Vivek Jagad

Does the Asset need to be on/online for this process to work? It is currently offline. If I remove the Policy and add it now will splashtop install when it boots or do I need to do the steps with the asset online? (It is at another location and powered down at the moment.)

I have not been able to get Splashtop-streamer to work properly. Installed from ARU, and it worked the first time, I was able to setup the account, etc. After that icon would bounce for a wile and quit with nothing happening.
So I tried to launch it manualy from a terminal using the command borrowed from the .desktop file in /opt/splashtop-streamer:

I've been having similar problems as the OP here. I've installed NetworkManager, using XFCE4, Gnome and KDE and I've still been unable to get Splashtop-Streamer, specifically SRFeature, to not crash when I attempt to connect. Is there something I'm missing or has something been updated that's no longer making this feasible? I've had this work still on Ubuntu but I really dislike my system's performance on that

I'm trying to start the program 10 seconds into the boot of Ubuntu. When I use simply sleep 10; python /opt/splashtop-streamer/SRStreamer.pyc the application does not start. When I use sh -c sleep 10; python /opt/splashtop-streamer/SRStreamer.pyc the application comes up with the error message that another copy is already running, I click okay and it quits.

Hi friends, I'm new to AHK for the most part and I was curious if there was any way to lock my mouse to the center of the screen on my main computer while using splashtop so I could play FPS games. The problem right now is while using splashtop, my mouse doesn't lock therefore my mouse goes off screen when I click. My thought process was maybe if I locked it on the computer I'm playing on, it would be locked in the same position as the splashtop game. ANY help would be amazing, I've been fighting this problem for a couple months now with no solutions.

K so I used this script and it locks it on main computer, however it won't allow me to move my mouse on the splashtop client at that point either which is kinda what I expected. Any ideas on a script that would allow this? Or hell perhaps anyone know of a different remote desktop program that gets around this problem?

One idea I was thinking of was resetting the mouse back to the center position on a timer. Anyone able to help with a script to do such a thing? All I need is the mouse directed to the center of the screen on a timer.
