Greetings and Happy Holidays Community Leaders,

I am pleased to share that today I spoke with Mr. Arthur Edge, President of Detroit 300. 

President Edge advised that the Detroit 300 Team will be providing additional patrol coverage at our local shopping plazas and strip malls throughout the holiday season.

Beginning today, December 19, 2025, through the New Year, the Detroit 300 Team will conduct high-visibility patrols daily from 1:00 PM to 9:00 PM. Their presence will include frequent patrols of shopping areas along Southfield, Greenfield, Grand River, Outer Drive and Telegraph.

Naturally, the Eighth Precinct will continue its high-visibility patrol coverage at these plazas as well. We are 1 Detroit - - I am confident that this collaborative effort will further enhance safety across our community during this busy holiday season.
