The Schoolcraft Community in Detroit needs your immediate help!
Dino-Mite Crushing & Recycling is applying to renew its concrete crushing special land use permit to keep operating its 12.3-acre toxic operation at 12625 Greenfield Rd.
This operation has been running for the past two years, exposing the community to an extremely excessive amount of toxic dust from the operation itself and from the heavy trucks going in and out of the facility.
Dino-Mite Crushing & Recycling has received 7 violations from the City of Detroit and was even taken to court (!), yet refuses to follow fugitive dust ordinances and several other important environmental protections jeopardizing the community's health and safety.
The Schoolcraft Community is asking all Detroiters to take action in 2 ways to help them stop Dino-Mite Crushing & Recycling's toxic operation:
