Streets for People Virtual Meeting - Wednesday, March 10
The City of Detroit Public Works Department is "developing Streets for People, a transportation plan with a singular focus — to make it easier and safer for all Detroiters to move around the city." Grandmont #1's Food Truck Friday - March 12
Grandmont #1 Improvement Association's Food Truck Friday on Friday, March 12 will feature Big Boy's Dawgs & Deli. Stop by Acacia at Grandville from 4:30 - 7:30 pm and pick up dinner and support a local business. Each Friday, a different food truck will be at 19200 Acacia offering a delicious variety. Join the Fun Litter Pick-Up Club - Saturday, March 13
The Fun Litter Pick-Up Club will kick off its 4th season this Saturday, March 13 at 9:30 am. Meet your neighbors at Public Square Detroit, 19180 Grand River, and get 10% off your drink. The Club meets every second Saturday of the month, March through November. If you would like to help out this Saturday, leave Mary a text or voice mail: 313.980.8850. Bring your mask and gloves.

Concert Fundraiser for Public Square Detroit - Sat., March 13
Grandmont Rosedale resident and classical guitarist Peter Fletcher will be performing at Public Square Detroit, 19180 Grand River on Saturday, March 13 from 4:40 - 6 pm. In-person tickets are very limited and $20. You can also stream the concert for $5. The proceeds from the concert will go toward ensuring that Public Square Detroit can stay in business in our community. To purchase in-person tickets, stop by the shop. Candy Donations Needed for April 3 Easter Bunny Event!
Grandmont Community Association, Grandmont #1 Improvement Association, North Rosedale Park Civic Association, Rosedale Park Improvement Association, and Minock Park Block Club Association are coming together for a Grandmont Rosedale Easter Bunny Drive-Through Visit on Saturday, April 3 from 10 am - 12 noon at the North Rosedale Park Community House, 18445 Scarsdale! The Easter Bunny will be there, but he needs your help! Drop off your individually wrapped candy at Cutz Lounge The Grooming Shop, 19655 Grand River, Public Square Detroit, 191180 Grand River, or at the Community House just as soon as you can hop to it!

In-Person Sign Up for Baseball League - Saturday, March 20
The 2021 Rosedale Grandmont Baseball season will take place with COVID-19 safety measures in place. Sign up your 3 - 16 year old in-person on Saturday, March 20 from 9 am - 12 noon at the Grandmont Rosedale Development Corporation offices, 19800 Grand River. Detroit Future City's Working with Lots Program - Spring 2021
Detroit Future City's Working with Lots Program for this Spring 2021 will focus on planning and design for planting in Spring 2022. Applications to transform a lot in your community will be released the end of March, but now is a good time to begin working with your neighborhood association to prepare for a spring project.
