Rotary Charities and NorthSky Nonprofit Network are hosting a presentation and community roundtable on collective impact – a concept that has been explored at Housing Solutions Network meetings in the past. All network members are invited and encouraged to attend. Additional details follow::

8:00 to 10:00 am

NMC Hagerty Center, 701 E Front Street, Traverse City

 

This informative presentation and community roundtable discussion, hosted by Rotary Charities of Traverse City and NorthSky Nonprofit Network, begin at the NMC Hagerty Center at 8:00 a.m. with registration and a continental breakfast. 

 

David Phillips of the FSG Consulting Group in San Francisco will outline the basic tenants of Collective Impact beginning at 8:30. He will be joined by Diana Sieger and Matthew VanZeeten from Grand Rapids, who will share their recent experiences starting “KConnect" (a Collective Impact effort focused on education in Kent County). 

 

Tables will be organized to enable discussions about the six Grand Vision networks and guiding principles, including the Housing Network, and six additional areas of interest: education/lifelong learning; early childhood; poverty reduction; arts and culture; health and wellness; and, parks and recreation. 

 

All interested Housing Network members and friends are invited to join us. There is no cost for attending, however, pre-registration is required. Here is the link to register:
