Here is a press release from a committee of the MEC re their communication with Snyder about the Flind disaster.  Also included is a url for their letter to him re their findings.  This is really a gathering storm.  What to do????

Is the leaking natural gas situation in California a fracked well ? Is any of this leaking gas or the fracking chemicals used to release it migrating into the surrounding substrate as a result of the uncontrollable leak ??

I believe it is a large natural gas storage cavern, but check CA news stories.  Very sad..  Steve J   Point to note, even natural gas requires “storage”, no different from intermittent renewables. Gas tanks, coal piles, atomic waste, other storage that creates leaks and poison into the environment.

I am delivering 300 cases of water to Flint tomorrow morning.  My Co-workers and other concerned citizens have donated about $1k in the last 36 hours to buy bottled water for the residents of Flint.  I am still raising funds so I can take a load down next weekend as well.  I am delivering to the Eastern Food Bank of Michigan.  The story will be featured on 9&10 News tonight at 6:00 PM.  Please consider getting involved at the ground level.
