Can you also post your proposal?

Hi Groovy oldsters,

Some of you asked if there had been an actual proposal for the Legends
division put forth. Yes there has and it came from me. Here is the usual
USAU response to my proposal to have a demonstration division with one team
from each region at Nationals. We must push the USAU to be responsive to
their membership, which they are not doing. I will try again with Iron's
idea for Legends games at 5:30 after regular GGM play.

Thanks To All for their interest.

Big Hugs,

Sas

Hey Sas,

Sorry I haven’t gotten back to you I have been out of the office quite a
bit this week. We can’t host a “Legends Division” this year at Nationals.
Last year with the divisions we hosted we maxed out our field capacity
every round on Friday and Saturday and the first couple of rounds on
Sunday. If we had the room we would have expanded the Great Grand Masters
as there is growing demand in that division. I’m not sure how many
“Legends” teams we could muster and if we could would it be enough to hold
a division. The Masters field is getting crowded as we are likely to be
adding Mixed Grand Masters and Great Grand Masters Women’s in 2021 or 2022.
We are already kicking around the idea of making the event four days so we
can add additional divisions and more teams. Eventually I can see us
getting big enough where we might separate the Masters and Grand Masters
Divisions. I definitely will watching and listening as I know our players
are getting older and looking for opportunities to play.

Thanks,

Byron
