Gentlemen and Ladies,

Herewith is the official proclamation of the East Hampton Grandmasters 2013 Classic. Listen to no others because they are false.
Cost: $300 per team. $30 per individual. For which you get: Free Camping at Sas's place at 86 Stony Hill Road. Free Fabulous Keg Beer starting after the Preakness (Ode to you Marylanders, We love you Johny, keep strummin), Delicious Courtney pancake breakfast with all fixins (we Love you Courtney), fields and insurance.

Fields are the East Hampton Middle School Soccer fields located a short walk from the East Hampton Train station and Herrick Park. Park in the long term lot not the one right off main st. (Montauk Highway).

Saturday Dinner Food- No grilling at Sas's house unless you have received my permission. Fabulous seafood is available from the Fish Farm as always, except this year each team's captain will contact Marie at the fish farm (Multi Aquaculture Systems) and use the attachment below, open it up and order from her. Sas will still pick up fish orders and deliver back to his house as usual. He will not accept fish orders. Talk to Marie and pay her. Those wishing to have a fancy dining experience may go out (it's the Hamptons after all. We Know how to party). Those wishing a funky sunset dining experience, go to the Sea Slug Lounge adjacent to the Fish Farm. Sas will lead the way once appropriately soused from the Preakness.

Beach Party: Once everyone has eaten and is appropriately wacked, we head to the beach for a bonfire. Johny strums and all crooners and strummers are invited. God knows how late we'll be there.

Children: This is a family event. My daughter Maude will be in charge of all fun kid activities at the house and fields. Families should contact me and we'll make arrangements. No alcohol or any badness at the fields period. All nefarious activities should be conducted in the woods at Treehenge or another newly constructed site behind the tents. No fireworks in the forest. Only at the beach.

Dogs: You are responsible for your dog. Take them with you. No dogs are to be left unattended at my place.

Driving: Try to avoid rushhour. Take the LIE to exit 70 (Manorville). R to 27East. Gas up before Hamptons: Insanely expensive.Stay on 27 East to Amagansett Village. L opposite Mobil onto Windmill Lane. R at end onto Town Lane. L onto Stony Hill. Go to Red Fox Run, 86 Stony Hill Road. Come all the way back. Max speed on 27 while 4 lanes is 70. As soon as switches to 35 mph don't go above 50. Watch out for cops. They want your money. Don't be stupid.

Who's Coming: All Star West Coast team led by Dan Powers, All Star Canadian Team, Last year's Champs Brooklyn (Chaiken still weasling and not playing for his home boys), Baltimore (We love you Johny and all you Marylanders), Philly (the Cool Crew), Geezers/Connecticut combo with local Boyz,
Albany and (no confirmation yet-Come on Sanjy get it together)Sanj's Boyz. Rumors of a second Brooklyn team and any other squads need to be confirmed with me only.

Order your food guys and let me know of any changes.

Can't wait to see everybody. Yippee. Yahoo!

Big Hugs,

Sas

sas,
great tournament as usual. its amazing that you had more teams interested than you had field space for, gotta find more fields next year.

kudos for the teams that drove from albany and ottawa. and for the guys who flew in from north carolina, seattle and beyond. i think we all have some unfinished business.... next year!

congrats to baltimore who went undefeated, i think they may well have been able to put out the old-EST line!

good luck to all those playing regionals to go to denver.

if youre not, next stop:  phillynotsochilly june 22, 23
