I went to Setting > Apple ID > Overview, in the bottom left I clicked signed out. After that is done, I then opened up messages and it stopped giving me the sign in screen, I then processed to sign back in via Settings. All good now. Hope it helps someone.

My old computer was experiencing a different iCloud problem: after signing out, I was unable to sign back in, and kept getting an error saying I was already signed in. This was the same account that I had migrated to my new computer that was experiencing the "unknown error" in Messages. I found this thread on StackExchange:

Running the Terminal command immediately allowed me to sign into iCloud on the old Mac. I then erased my new Mac, re-installed Monterey, re-migrated my user account and all my data, and everything worked. No more "unknown error." I also uninstalled Sophos FWIW, although I'm not sure that was related. Just something that was suggested to get rid of some pesky Console timestamp error messages.

I have signed in using the same account on another Mac, no problems. I have changed the iCloud password. I have reinstalled Monterey, I have deleted files from user lib/prefs and the user lib/messages folder. I've deleted the com.apple.apsd.plist from the Lib/prefs. I've reset the nvram and the smc. Currently am downloading to upgrade from Monterey 12.3.1 to 12.4.

With another user acc, same Apple ID ok but I can't sync my NOTES content into my new user acc. Anybody knows how to sync NOTEs folders from old user acc to a new user acc with same Apple ID?

haha thanks! Happy to help! it was driving me INSANE so i figured it would help others if i posted the solution to it. Typing from iMessage on the computer is key to productivity for me so not being able to was really annoying.

No, what I was saying, is that all I had to do was log out of my user account and then log back in and then go to messages and I was able to login without the error. I did not have to create or sign in to another user account to get it to work

Unfortunately I have this same problem and none of these solutions have worked. I can sign in for other users, just not the main user profile that has all my data. I even erased the disk and reinstalled the OS, with the same results.

This did not work for me on a new iMac with already being signed in to messages on other Macs and iPhone. so this iMac is basically useless to me, thank you so much apple! I will go buy a PC and sell this piece of junk iMac that does not "just work"

All server error code 1 and doesn't working. Game was obviously worked yesterday... Don't say internet connection or router or anything like that. I suddenly got this error while playing the game yesterday.

I had this problem in the last years and was easily solved by restarting the game or the PC. Today I encountered the problem while trying to spectate a game (after I already spectated another server, in order to see if hackers are present). Restarting game/PC doesn't solve the problem. After several attempts I tried reinstalling origin and repairing BF1, nothing worked. In the end i figured out that is account related, I logged in with another account (basic BF1) and worked. Logged back with BF1 Revolution account and bug still present. I hope it will get solved by itself because BF1 admin seem to be an outdated job...

P.S. another symptom (related or not) is that server list and options seem to load much slower than before, although my internet connection is gigabit, confirmed with speedtest. May be related to the hub server where your user connects...

I have tried restarting my ps4 and I have never played a game of battle field 4 online from my account so I am not banned could you please fix this or tell me something useful so that I can fix this myself

Unable to complete installation. Installation is performed on Windows 10. Error text: (Installation failed due to unknown error (Error code: 1).
I installed autoload from the site, installed the ofline version, installed the old ofline version, turned off the antivirus, turned off the firewall - the same error.
Help install the application. Please do not write, dear moderators, messages about reinstalling without antivirus, installing with the removal of previous versions, I did everything. Are there any new ideas that have not been written about in the following discussions:

The solution turned out to be funny, but not very. Simply, if you have another computer or laptop, and dropbox is working there, then copy the Program Files(x86) folder from your another computer to yours. I just installed win 11 on the hard drive without deleting the old system- win 10, and installed dropbox in win11 and then just copied it to win10 and everything worked. If there is the same error, but there is no way to get the files, then you can write here and ask for dropbox files... I'll send it, but I won't see the message right away.

I registered its UDID in devices section manually and the provisioning profile is successfully installed on the device but there still is a yellow dot in front of iPad's name in organizer and the device is not appearing in the iOS Devices list ( so that I cannot run my app on it ).

One time this happened to me and it seemed my iCloud account on my device was not logged in. This was due to a password change I had done. Once I signed back in with the proper password the app seemed to build to the device just fine. :-)

In my case, after trying everything (restart of Ipad, XCode, imac), I found out the issue was being caused by the same app still running in the background of the Ipad from a previous run. I just had to dismiss the app from Ipad and all got fixed.

I got this error when trying to install a 1GB app on a device with only 300MB left. I did not expect it to be an issue since the app was already installed on the device from iTunes, and I was just installing a local build to overwrite it, but I got this error repeatedly until I uninstalled the copy from the store. After that, it worked just fine.

I was able to identify the issue in my case. We have notification extension in the app and update bundle version after compile for builded extension .appex file and for the main .app file in the Info.plist. It looks like Xcode do not resign .appex file for some reason and so the app installation on a device fails.

As a workaround I manually added CodeSignOnCopy attribute to the application extension copy phase in the main app Build Phases in the project.pbxproj file since there were no checkmark for that in the Xcode:

While using Mathcad Prime 6, I encountered a rather strange error. When I try to find solutions to an equation using solve, Mathcad says "Unknown error: "failed"_of_mode_Union". I have done the same procedure a couple times before, and it worked every time. I don't think there's a problem in my code. All the units check out. If anyone could help me solve the problem or recommend a way to get around this method somehow, I would appreciate it very much. I tried solve block, but it only gives one solution and I know there are multiple. I attached the mathcad code.

The error message is because the symbolic result is too large to display. The reason is that the symbolic does not know anything about units and treats N, J, kg, s, m, etc. as unrelated unknown variables. This sure blows up the symbolic result. In the subsequent numeric evaluation of omega, the units cancels and we get a simple result.

Primes development goes in glacier speed but if you feel better you may report the error to PTC and hope that it will be fixed. Because in future versions of Prime the old legacy symbolic will not be available anymore.

I've removed and re-added the extension on Windows 10/Chrome. I can't login to my 1Password. When I click the logo, I get a new tab and it says "Something Went Wrong - An unknown database error occurred". That's all.

I dont think I was clear. I can't even open the extension dropdown. When I click on the addon/extension, it brings up the "Something went wrong. An unknown database error occurred." With a link to the support page.
