I have tried the below process (which got me further than anywhere else) BUT when I get to the password leg of the access I hit a wall. Since I have forgotten my old Ameritech.net password, I click on the FORGOT PASSWORD link. This takes me back to my AT&T account which takes me through resetting my AT&T password. I then go the below procedure armed with my new password - which of course does not work an Ameritech.net access. I promise, once I can get to my email account I will endeavor to notify all (not spam) correspondents that this account has dried up and gone away.

Yes. Mailbird uses IMAP or POP3 to connect to most email providers. Mailbird's technology can detect the server settings automatically when you enter your email address.
If it is unable to detect the settings, you can set up your email manually by entering the details your provider has listed for their server settings: like the IMAP or POP3 Port and IMAP or POP3 Security.
You will also need to enter the username and password you have assigned with your email provider.

Our password was compromised somehow, and we weren't able to get in. When we tried both paths of reset it kept saying we weren't allowed to do that. When we called in, we were told a password would be mailed to us via US Mail. We were assured it would be overnighted, but we have yet to receive it over 7 days later. Any help or suggestions for contacting someone...we need to access our email asap. Thanks!
