Where do all information come from? Thanks Tim for posting. I knew the
”facts” from Mantrav before but here I can read it again and I am
still asking myself:

Why didn´t I get an alternative accomodation when I contacted Mantrav
when I knew there will not be any Sanctum?

How come I am one of the few who didn´t get any refund when 84 others
have been made? I havn´t been sending any 900 posts so I am not
responsible :-)…

All of the 'refunds' I have personally heard about have all been, in fact, a 'chargeback' through VISA.  We got ours this way too.

I was informed by Malcolm Hardy before we flew to Gran Canaria that he had arranged alternative accommodation for us.  On contacting said accommodation they advised us not to fly and that there was actually no booking for us.

Hopefully you paid using VISA or Mastercard and if you did you should contact them and ask them to initiate a Chargeback.  My understanding is that they aren't challenging it any more as they have all the evidence they need to process the chargeback.

The email from Craig was using a Mantrav email address and was signed at the bottom Mantrav international. As far as the consumer is concerned this email WAS from Mantrav or at the very least a person acting on behalf of Mantrav with Mantravs permission.

Why would we think this was incorrect? For the record I called and emailed Mantrav immediately after receiving that email and was offered a refund, but I never received it (from Mantrav) I had to go through a lengthy process with my bank. Great customer service from Mantrav. Not
