Just received the following from Mantrav:

Face Book and Trust Pilot was shut down by the respective companies
lawyers as they consider it harassment.and again it was not done by Mr
Hardy, your statement to Face Book is further evidence to be added
against you in court, remember you are notThe person who made a
booking, Mr. Hardy helped you to re locate to Plasida Mar Andrew Jones
who has since been fired canceled your bookingfor spite, As far as
refunds your partners refund was approved by Mantrav and sent to Visa.
The police have investigated, there is no fraud. Kind regards,

I don't read his emails normally but this one is interesting.

1) He states VERY clearly that there was no accommodation for us.
Remember, we booked club Mancha.
2) He states VERY clearly that he helped us relocate to Placida Mar
(not the accommodation we booked) and that the booking, for whatever
reason was cancelled.

Our contract was with MANTRAV, it was MANTRAV who took our money as a
booking agent and it is MANTRAV to whom we looked to sort the mess
out. This has NOT been sorted, we have abusive emails from Malcolm
Hardy and 'others' at MANTRAV. Myself and my partner also endured
countless telephone conversation with this Hardy SHOUTING at us.

On one point he is perfectly correct. I didn't book the
accommodation, my partner did. Is Hardy SO unaware of LGBT equality as
to think, because we are two men, that this isn't MY money too? I am
DISGUSTED at the treatment I have had at the hands of this man.

One further point Mantrav has made in error. A VISA chargeback IS NOT
AGREED or signed off by the company owner. He has NOT refunded us.
We have requested a Chargeback through VISA. Mantrav might very well
end up paying the money back to VISA but if Hardy thinks this is the
way business is done then I cannot imagine he has stayed (as he
purports) in business for 21 years. Thus far we haven't receieved our
chargeback either.

This is how it SHOULD have gone when we contacted Mantrav:

Customer: There's been a problem, I can't fly to Gran Canaria because
the accommodation I booked with you does not exist.
Mantrav: I'm sorry Sir, yes, we have experienced some problems. I am
going to refund you immediately and, as a goodwill gesture, give you a
voucher for some money off a future stay with us.
Customer: Thank you.

THAT'S IT. NO MORE. The Customer get's what he deserves and the
owner of the company lives to trade another day. Both parties stung
but happy with an agreed outcome.

What have we receieved? NOTHING BUT BILE, HATE, HARASSMENT and LIES!

Hindsight is the most exact science known to man...oh how I wished I
had booked with a proper company and not some shoddy outfit with Hardy
at the helm!

Another piece of evidence for you DCW.

What Hardy forgets to mention about Trustpilot is that Mantrav cannot
be reviewed at all. So anyone searching for his business on there will
see the notice "Mantrav can currently not be reviewed". This together
with all of the reviews being suspended will be enough to set alarms
bells ringing and a simple Google search will quickly show the bad
press associated with the business. So, unless Hardy is seeking to
control the Internet in its entirety, his campaign to suppress the
views of disgruntled customers is doomed to failure.
