Youth Alliance Chronicle: 2011-17

Dear Dost,

Hope you are doing great. It is with much delight that I want to share with you our 6 year Chronicle. Over the years we have evolved, shaped and re-shaped. We started with a volunteer program in 2011, went on to do a 5 week leadership program - Lead The Change in 2012, and launched our rural immersion journey Gramya Manthan the same year. We also tried our hands to do a year long program ONUS in 2014 & 15 with college students but it did not work out real well for us. 

Five years of grit, commitment and unending faith helped us realise our strength and it was in 2016 that we decided to focus on building our immersive journeys and residential programs. Keeping this in mind, we scaled Gramya Manthan to Ahmedabad and launched its winter edition in December 2016. Going ahead we wish to focus on three things:

• Immersive Journeys (like Gramya Manthan)
• Alumni Support Residentials
• Leadership Development Programs (for organisations)

The impact of Gramya Manthan and our other residential programs have made us believe that these journeys are among the most powerful leadership program a young person can go in India. The story of 200+ development professionals and 24+ entrepreneurs from a community of 600 young leaders is a testimony of the deep impact of our programs. 

Over next 3-5 years, we wish to establish ourselves as an organization known for its depth of program, excelling in immersive journeys for youth and supporting leadership teams of organisations through our customised programs. It's been a brilliant roller coaster ride for us and it is our utmost pleasure that we got enough love and support from you through out this journey. In these years we have consciously made sure not to compromise the underlying principle of personal transformation and keep the focus on inner-journey as strong as possible.
