Dearest Alumni,

I hope this email finds you in the wait of Diwali break to begin and festive mood to celebrate the festival. :) The past 3 months in Youth Alliance have been like a time machine, where as we moved ahead onto the new experiments, new places and people, we did it carrying forward the learnings and relationships we had from our formitive years. There were more than enough occasions for us to reflect, celebrate, feel the joy and gratitude as we continued receiving love, love and love in the community which whole heartedly always aceept, accept and accept.

Thank you for being a part of what keeps us going. I hope this brings a smile on your face and well if it does, you can enclose it in your inbox and share with us. :) We would love to hear how you feel about it and how can we spread the ripples more.

In these 3 days, the sessions were facilitated by Ravi Gulati (Manzil), Rajen Makhijani (Ex. UChicago), Sahil Sood (Sangha), Ridhi and Rahul (Swantantra Talim), Mohit Arora (SSE) and, Mini Kakkar (NFI).

REASONS TO CELEBRATE

NURTURING A COMMUNITY SPACE

Over the years Youth Alliance has been supported and nurtured by the community. Taking forward the gift of community, we have shifted to a new place, our new office cum community space. We intend to build this space for all and open it to other like-minded young dreamers.
If you wish to spend some time here, contribute to build it or maybe block your space for coming months/years reach out to us.

CELEBRATING NEW TEAM

We, at Youth Alliance, feel more strengthened in our work and belief as the team expanded by joining of 2 of our Alumni and a founding member.

We welcome them with great love and excitement.

TALKS AND MEDIA

In the recent Daan Utsav, Bloomberg Quint, Prakhar Bharitya wrote about youth leadership, new age choices young people are making and story of Youth Alliance "Opening Young Minds And Hearts To Social Leadership."

GRATITUDE

Venkat Krishnan
Founder, Give India

Decades later, when India would talk about its flourishing culture of "Giving" it would be traced back to a few individuals who played the key role in this. The whole of idea of Daan Utsav (previously called Joy of Giving Week) has been invisibly led by Venkat, who before that started Give India.
We are grateful to him for selflessly devoting his life to spread the idea of giving in India and invoking goodness in people's heart. The festival of giving is already reaching millions in less than a decade, we are sure that in years to come it will reach billions and make our society a more just place to live in. Read more...

My journey was a little rough, but very fruitful. I am glad I chose Gramya Manthan over Goa, as Goa would have impacted me for only a short time span whereas GM has left a life long impact on me. Since day one GM has forced me to focus on myself, to pay attention to myself, my thoughts, my desires. This was very difficult for me to do as I had lost interest in myself and my life. All I ever thought of was work and career.
