Complexity in language

Dear All,

Those who followed this discussion last year might like to check out a

A general theme is the unsuspected complexity possible when you
abstract patterns from data.

It is hoped that by drawing attention to other hints at this
"complexity beyond rules", also very new outside linguistics, the
nature of a solution for language will become clearer.

As usual comments or suggestions, including objections, are very welcome.
