Help with EPC size

Hi,

I have an Intel(R) Xeon(R) Silver 4314 machine and according to Intel's product specification page, the maximum EPC size for SGX is 8 GB. However, is-sgx-available tool shows only (0xfe000000) 4064 MB. Can you kindly clarify why the tool is showing only half of the claimed size? Thanks!

Hi,

Please check your BIOS settings, it may be limiting the available size. Also, just to be sure: are you looking at the 64-bit maximum size? (not 32-bit)
