Hello Committee Officers, etc.
I am he owner of units 5419, 6002, and I would like to be an out of State,( California)
volunteer in any way I can.  Like giving advise, opinions, suggestions feedback etc.
maybe some other  OFW  or out of the country owners may want
to do the same. I attended one of the meetings, when I was there.
Can you also provide emails of all the members, with their permission.

It is Amazing what 150 meters makes.
I have 4 units at Knightsbridge and the problems are 90% less with 99% less bureaucracy!

At Gramercy,  the original Joseph was not the right choice for the job and created a culture of hostility.  He has been replace by someone better qualified from a customer service point of view, but to date has been ineffective and is perhaps incompetent to do the job. The bureaucracy keeps getting worse. The old adage of "power desires more power" seems to apply here.

At Knightsbridge, we have a happy Chief of Security who keeps out the troubles but is customer oriented.  It is TRULY FUN AT KNIGHTS BRIDGE!

At Gramercy, customer service is the LAST things on the mind of Security.   I invite all of you to interview both heads of securities and see whom should be promoted to head of Century City for training everyone
and whom should be leading the prisoners at the most violent places in the world.  If you speak to both, you will CLEARLY understand the differences in the culture.

Also, at Knightsbridge, we don't have a certain unit owner who hangs out in the lobby dictating her personal culture upon the guards and the concierge.   If we want things to change, then this person should not be allowed to dictate her personality which MIMICS the head of Gramercy Security.

Simply put,  my rental prices for Gramercy unit has been driven by 30% this past year.  (From 50K for a studio down to 30-35k per month)
My same sized units at Knightsbridge has gone up to 55k for the same sized unit.

The current GM of Century City (the new Joseph)  understands what customer service is all about, yet has done NOTHING about replacing key people who should work at a prison, instead of treating our guests like prisoners and KILLING the reputation of
our lovely building!

What can we do to get the Joseph to do his job?  Any ideas?

I myself is a unit.owner and I'm just so happy to see a tremendous response from unit owners. I have a question for you. Do you lease out.you condos with century leasing on long term or through Siglo Suites.

I have never used Siglo Suites.
I have an agent who does it for me.   I have stayed about 92% occupied with her for my 19 units.
Her name is Lucy Selick.   Email address:  lucy....@gmail.com

I pay her 12% of the monthly rental amount.     I NEVER pay advance commissions unless I have advance payment.
Thus, if a client gives me 2 months rent and 1 month deposit.  Then I give Lucy 2 months commission.    
If the client gives me 6 months upfront payment,  then I give Lucy 6 months commission.    Since she is full service, I don't have to do much except review my reports from her.
Of course, I double check the empty space to see if she moonlights my unit on the side.  Yet, I have never caught her doing that.   Thus, I can now trust her with "one eye closed."
Whomever you use, check-up on them occassion and make sure they aren't stealing from you.

I do realize there are cheaper agents out there, but they never did much and my units stayed empty and the rates were really low.
5 more of my condos are coming online in late May or June.  I stress every time I have open units, but I do have faith she will get them rented out.
