Gramam, A newly formed socio-cultural forum has plans to organize a medical camp at a labour camp. They had distributed 3000 packet of food in partnership with Al
Diyafa School to 5 camps in Sonapur. Wondering if AWA will be interested in sponsoring meds.
Loop – Marianne, a friend, is Founder president of Aerobridge, a non-profit dedicated to providing connectivity for relief cargo. She is also on the committee of American Women’s Association, that has just pledged a donation of AED. 14,000 for buying food stuff for destitute labourers.

Good news, AWA is willing to sponsor two separate lunches for a total of 700 men at a total cost of 14,000Dhs. In addition, at the General Meeting on Jan. 8th, the members will be asked to bring in donations of exactly what we ask for in support of Karama Kanteen. There will also be an opportunity for you to speak to the membership about Karama Kanteen. If you are not comfortable speaking to a group, either Diann or I can speak and you can answer questions.
The 2 feedings that AWA will support needs to be after the General Meeting as that is when the money will be available. We can schedule the dates at your convenience.
I need to know from you, what donations do you want requested from the women to bring to the Jan meeting? This would be a standard "bag" that could be given out at one of your Friday feedings. For example, specifically:
1 2 Kilo bag of rice
2 400gram bags of lentils
1 liter corn cooking oil
The "bag" list must be specific and total no more than 50 Dhs.
