Even the least avid calendar watchers amongst us would know that the time left for Utsavam’12 can be counted now in hours rather than in days. The roll of the kolu on Chenda with which Thaayampaka will kick off Utsavam’12 at 5.30pm on 29th November 2012 is eagerly awaited by all of us.
The Invitation including the programme schedule is enclosed.
We can be justifiably proud of this achievement, as we are staging Utsavam, subtitled International Koodiyaattam & Kathakali Festival (IKKF), for the 6th consecutive year. As you all know, each of us has contributed to realisation of this and every Utsavam.
However, for our dreams to be made into reality, we needed the support of GEMS Education Group, our various sponsors, donors and the prayers and goodwill of our well-wishers. We are grateful to each and every one of them.
It now behoves us to spread the good word far and wide—please send this invitation to all your friends, relatives, colleagues who may be interested in our traditional arts.
We would like to take this opportunity to also record our gratitude to the Rulers of this country which has welcomed all of us with open arms. We would also record our appreciation for the continued support we enjoy from the Consulate General of India.
Once again, Thiranottam invites you all for this event.
Kind regards,
Thiranottam Team
