Hi all, Would it be helpful to have a weekly checkin where we state
where we are with our things and get feedback from people? (Glad to
kick it off myself starting this weekend.)

Been a conference all week. So most of my time was spent networking and promoting my startup. Managed to break my build server, JIRA and my SSO server all in one night. Can be an interesting ride when you have to wear all the hats at your company!

Hey everybody,

First post to the group...looking forward to trading war stories and learning from others here.

My intro:

I'm tech lead at Visibiz (http://www.visibiz.com), a social CRM startup.  Been around for about 9 months now.  Just heading into a "private beta" phase in a couple weeks.

Our stack is Grails, MongoDB and JQuery.  Recently added ElasticSearch as our search engine.  Using Hudson, JIRA and Git.  Everything hosted on AWS (except our repos which are at GitHub).  A few bumps along the way, but overall those components have worked really well for us so far.

Curious to hear what others are up to, specifically in regards to favorite Grails plugins or components that complement Grails well in your world.

Mike
