I planned to upload a new plugin when 0.6 is released (which is
currently work in progress) and didn't want to upload a milestone release.

I think it's best to release 0.6 when Grails 2.0 is out. Reagrding new
features, please take a look at tickets 38 and higher at
http://code.google.com/p/grails-jaxrs/issues/list?can=1&q=&colspec=ID+Type+Status+Priority+Milestone+Owner+Summary&cells=tiles

That's a (known) mistake on my side. I didn't update the version number
to 0.5-m1-p1 in
https://github.com/krasserm/grails-jaxrs/blob/jaxrs-0.5-m1-p1/JaxrsGrailsPlugin.groovy#L20.
