repo.grails.org appears to be down (404 error)

The Grails central repo appears to be having issues. I am getting intermittent (frequent) 404 errors from the service, saying "nginx" at the bottom of the page:

https://repo.grails.org/grails/plugins/

Is this because of the AWS outages? Or is this an unrelated issue?

Seems like a global/regional DNS issue.
