Unable to load extension class [org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.NioGroovyMethods]

Hi,

As i am new user to Grails, just downloaded 2.4.4 and installed in MAC OSX
while create-app and run-app i got a warning as

com.test.firstGrails vijayakumar$ grails run-app
Nov 14, 2014 4:12:31 PM org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.m12n.MetaInfExtensionModule newModule
WARNING: Module [groovy-all] - Unable to load extension class [org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.NioGroovyMethods]

Coming for grails command as mentioned below,

com.test.firstGrails vijayakumar$ grails -v
Nov 14, 2014 4:34:29 PM org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.m12n.MetaInfExtensionModule newModule
WARNING: Module [groovy-all] - Unable to load extension class [org.codehaus.groovy.runtime.NioGroovyMethods]

| Loading Grails 2.4.4


just wanted to know info have i missed something to configure? Please advise.

This message appears when you are running JDK 6 (or 5?) which does not
have the NIO methods if I recall

java version "1.7.0_67"
Java(TM) SE Runtime Environment (build 1.7.0_67-b01)
Java HotSpot(TM) 64-Bit Server VM (build 24.65-b04, mixed mode)

com.test.firstGrails vijayakumar$ javac -version
javac 1.7.0_67
