2.9 cursor and brush flickering like crazy

I got a new computer and I switched to 2.9.

The mouse cursor and the brush flicker in and out of existence every time I move the pen a single NATIVE pixel.

It's quite uncomfortable, is this a known issue or is there something wrong on my end??

Which version do you use? SDL1? SDL2? Windows, Linux or MacOS?

They all have slightly different problems :(

2.9.3264 windows, installer version. I don't know anything else.

I guess I'll start trying older versions until I find one that doesn't flicker.

The funny thing is that I had stuck with 2.4 until last week because 2.5 didn't show the orthogonal lines when drawing or brush-grabbing squares 🙃
