Please make time to vote today for the Feasibility Study. A YES vote
will approve the study, which is the ONLY path to using state funds to
solve our school space issues.
This is the second of 2 required votes for the debt exclusion to fund
the Feasibility Study, the first having occurred at Town Meeting back
in May.
This is a BALLOT vote, taking only moments of your time at your
convenience, between 8 am and 8 pm today.
Contrary to what may be written in the Grafton News, this is not an
override. A Prop 2 1/2 override is a permanent tax increase. This is
a debt exclusion, which is a temporary increase over the 2 1/2% limit,
only lasting until the amount is paid off. This is an important
distinction, because it does not change the tax base.
