Folks,

It has been very quite on the board here and also about the vote
coming up on the feasibility study on 6/24 - absentee ballots are out.
I was told that we have a lot of campaigning to do but I have not
heard anything. We had so much going on before the town hall meeting
where we all participated in handing out flyers, GEA was involved etc.

Are we losing momentum? If it is, we need to ratchet it up again to
make sure we do not fail getting past this important hurdle.

Love to hear your thoughts.

Gopal

I have gotten several emails from the GEA about the vote, and also
from a couple of friends. I think the best thing folks can do is send
out emails to all their friends and neighbors in town, and talk it up
at all the end of the year school events (a great opportunity to chat
up other parents we don't normally see.) A letter or two to the
editor in the next 2 weeks will also help (Tuesday deadline each week
for the Grafton News.)

This has historically been the point where other initiatives (such as
the proposed middle school) have failed, and there will be far more
people voting at this ballot election than attended Town Meeting, so
it is important to let your friends and neighbors know that we need
every YES vote at this ballot election.

Hi Gopal,

As you know, the GEA has sent out emails. I have also seen those
recirculated, as well as others sending out their own notices. The
Grafton News has had a weekly notice regarding the vote. The SSBC
will be putting information in the paper before the vote as well. The
GEA will be sending out a targeted mailing early next week to vote
"yes". Flyers will go out to the preschools/daycares in the next week
to 10 days. We will also have a couple of signs posted in town.
Campaign materials recommend that the timing of things should be
relatively close to the election hence the reason that it has seemed
relatively quiet.

Thanks,
Caroline
