"100% Moscow Subway"
is a document about the ongoing globalisation`s process how
graffiti/writing turns global culture.
As a beginners task we have the usual problems,but as a pioneering one
this is acceptable.They switch from black/white to color and back,shaky
camera giving an impression as if some boozed miner did a weird
mining-movie as you see scenes from the famous Metro,showing the usual
tasks of the "rites du passage" of modern urban youths showing their
daring and ability to work "under pressure".
As here graffiti/writing is a new tool no sense to talk about quality
of styles.Huge bubble-letter bombings prevail.
As an unique,new way of showing an "unwanted art" it is of historical
value and sequels will have to stand the test of being compared with
quality productions from other countries.
It is a partially "surrealist" product due to haste of filming.That you
see unmasked writers makes them objects of identification and is
dangerous.
