Hi again,

I can't see any reference on the API page about uploading the
associated image with the GML, is this possible for 3rd party apps and
if so, any hints on how?

Yep, just include the raw image data in the 'image' field. JPG/GIF/PNG work, and maybe others. I'll add this to docs asap

ahh, so it's just added in the post data, not part of the gml, makes
sense, I'll give it a go...
