Creating custom Kinds

hi,

We are starting to experiment with Grafeas . The version that we run doesnt support the Intoto kind Note. Down the lane, we also see the needs for creating custom "kinds" to suite our needs.

I am new to go. Any directions on how to add a custom kind for the Notes ?
