Hi all,

Below and attached, please find information about a new post-doctoral fellowship program at Cornell. It is being run by the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future, where I am the faculty director for programs in Economic Development – if you have students or are yourselves interested, feel free to send me an email! It's a very generous post-doc that allows you to focus on your own work, mostly in residence but also with extended fieldwork time if needed. Applicants need to find a mentor or person to affiliate with at Cornell and also identify an outside partner who will be interested in the research – all outside partners are encouraged, from social movements to (of course) companies…

Dear Colleagues,

We are excited to announce that the Atkinson Center for a Sustainable Future is launching a new postdoctoral program in sustainability.  As you will see, this program has several unique features.  The deadline for proposals is October 13, 2014, with the first postdocs to start in early 2015.

We have also attached a poster with program highlights. We would appreciate it if you could distribute it widely, as we want to cast a broad net to encourage quality applicants in our six focus areas: Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems, One Health, Sustainable Communities, New Materials, Computational Sustainability, and Energy Transitions.
