Graduate Math Foundations - First meeting!

I'm happy to see that there has been a great deal of interest in the new graduate course this quarter. This e-mail is a reminder, to clear up any confusion about this class.
The class will meet on Mondays and Wednesdays, from 12:00 pm until 1:45 pm, in JBE 360.
Perhaps we should have lunch to go along with it sometimes?
The class is listed as "Graduate Seminar", Math 296, in the course listings. It is too late to get a more official-sounding course title and number for this quarter. If the class is successful, it might become a permanent and regularly-offered addition to the graduate math program here.
I'll be developing more materials for the course over the weekend, and posting them on the google group.
Please let me know if you have any further questions - I look forward to seeing/meeting you all on Monday.
