Hi Everyone,

Just a heads up for these upcoming events!

Friday October 22: GradPride Social Hour
7pm at Nellies, 900 U Street, NW, Washington, DC 20001 (on 9th and U
St. NW)
GradPride will once again team up with other DC-area universities.
All LGBTQ graduate, PhD, and law students interested in connecting
with one another are welcome to attend. You will get a chance to meet
other LGBTQ DC area grad students including GMU, American, GW,
Georgetown , and University of Maryland.

Sunday, October 30: GradPride Volunteers
We will team up with SPPSA (School of Public Policy Student
Association) for a "Day of Service"
9-10:30 AM: Canal Stewards at the River Center at Lock 8
Help the Conservancy clean up and beautify the land and water
surrounding Lock 8, and along miles 8 and 9 of the C&O Canal towpath.
Wear clothes that can get dirty- we’ll provide all the necessary tools
and equipment.
Email me if you want to volunteer so we can get a head count and
carpool.
