Come Out Speak Out October 12th!

Hey Everyone!

Join the LGBTQ Mason community for a Come Out Speak Out on October 12th from 6-9pm in the Hub/SUB II (whatever you cool kids are calling it these days) in room 1 and 2.

A Come Out Speak Out is a fantastic opportunity to gather with community members (allies welcome) and to tell our stories. The event is -confidential- and anything that is said during the event stays in that room.

Treat the Come Out Speak Out like an open mic event. Feel free to come up to the mic if and when you chose, share your story (p

repared or not) share some poetry, a song, (though most people just speak freely and tell their story) whatever you wish about your coming out process. This event is for -everyone-. It doesn't matter if you haven't come out yet, you don't plan to, you did ages ago, or you just want to all over again.

This event can be powerful, hilarious, moving... it all depends on how many amazing people we can get in the room and how we all choose to participate (or not! it's ok to not speak there). So please make time to come and bring friends!
