CLEVELAND MINORITY ORGAN TISSUE TRANSPLANT EDUCATION PROGRAM (MOTTEP)

Program Coordinator (Part-Time)

Centers for Dialysis Care is seeking a part time Program Coordinator for Cleveland Minority Organ and Tissue Transplant Education Program (MOTTEP) to work out of our East facility.  This position is grant funded, working 20 hours per week.  This position has a hybrid work schedule between remote and in office hours.  

 

Overview:  Assist in the coordination of the Cleveland MOTTEP’s Community Vaccine Education Program (MOTTEP) and Vaccine Navigators working with the Executive Director.  This position reports to the Executive Director of Cleveland MOTTEP.    

 

Responsibilities:  

  1. Responsible for day to day vaccine navigator supervision, scheduling, time sheet collection, making copies, supply distribution, data entry.

 

  1. Coordinates and facilitates outreach/awareness activities to increase confidence in the COVID-19 and influenza vaccine in underserved communities.

 

  1. Participate on committees of community based networks and groups likely to increase awareness of COVID-19 and influenza vaccinations.

 

  1. Facilitate community education presentations, trainings and events about vaccines.

 

  1. Participate in health fairs and community events to encourage vaccinations.

 

  1. Educating the community to increase confidence in vaccines.

 

  1. Work with social media and local media outlets to publicize the program.

 

  1. Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor of Science or Arts in either community health or public health or equivalent required.

 

  1. Strong written and verbal communications skills.

 

  1. Experience with Microsoft based computer applications.

 

  1. Familiar with videoconferencing platforms including Zoom for remote meeting.

 

  1. High level of self-motivation and good interpersonal skills.

 

  1. Strong organizational skills and the ability to follow through.

 

  1. Ability to interact, work, and develop rapport with people of various cultural backgrounds.

 

  1. Community outreach experience preferred.
