Hello Grace Lutheran Members!

    This last Sunday Pastor Ben Schmudlach accepted the call to serve at Grace Lutheran Church! Praise God for his bountiful grace and love! Here is a copy of his letter, along with a picture of him and his family. Timing and logistics of their move are still unknown, but we look forward to welcoming them in the near future!

Dear members of Grace,

Greetings again from La Crosse, Wisconsin!

   After many conversations and even more prayers, I have decided to accept the call to serve as

your pastor.

   My family (Jenna, Sawyer, and Nora) and I are excited to put some faces to the voices we have

been talking to over the past few weeks. We thank you for all the information, insight,

encouragement, and answers that you have given to us. We thank you even more for the

prayers you offered on our behalf.

   Over the course of the next few weeks, we will be planning and packing for our move to Alaska.

We look forward to working with you in carrying out the ministry at Grace and in the Kenai

area!
