Dear all,
Thank you for working on this first of all! I am sorry for not participating in the discussion at this stage. i am completely focused on writing my conference paper and hence i am not very helpful with brainstorming cfp.
I find Fredrik's cfp to be very solid and agree both with Hanne and Joonas that in general we have to keep it short and outspoken. If we want to stress that we welcome contributions from very different fields, may be it makes sense to have a list of possible panels, one of which can be devoted to transfer of transfer studies or ideology of transfer studies, for instance? This second page with possible panels can be both helpful for us and applicants to understand the scope of varying subjects we are interested in. I think we also can encourage the submission of panels (which understandably happens not that often at the graduate conferences, but may be our colleagues from Vienna and Budapest can come up with coherent panels... ) Coming up with this proposal, i can't promise to write such a list of topics....
Cheers,
Daria
