Meeting with Antonella

Dear Daria and Fredrik,

We had our meeting with Antonella today and this is what she said.

1. She again stressed the need to have more EUI-people. We are trying
to get people to come, but it is hard. I think I have convinced Frank,
Dario and Sarah, but we will see.

2. She said we should invite Yun to do the welcome speech since he is
head of dep. I have done this.

3. Due to diplomatic reasons, she also wanted us to have a eui-prof
giving a key note. We thought this might be done on Saturday, maybe
instead of the round table. We have asked Pavel, and he has said he
will consider it.In any case he is willing to chair a session.
Otherwise Antonella suggested Moses. We should have someone doing
modern history.

4. Joonas will write to all the eui-profs inviting them to chair
panels.

5. Fredrik: We will need a reply from CEU soon as to how many they can
invite. Preferably by March 1st, as that is the deadline for
confirming participation. Joonas, Magnus and I will meet on the 2nd to
deal with this.

Antonella did not say anything about double sessions.


I have still not heard anything back from Francesca.
