Currently we are looking to network with talented people about the following excellent career opportunity: The Richmond Group USA (TRG) is actively seeking an experienced FINANCIAL CONTROLLER to join the executive leadership team for a booming $600 million+ global process manufacturer in the Shenandoah Valley area. This position offers the right candidate the opportunity to be impactful in a key leadership role. We are looking for a true strategic visionary with sound technical skills, analytical ability, good judgment and strong operational focus. Our clients seeks a true financial professional, who can see the "big picture" and bring the best out in people. This role will extend the right person the rare opportunity to work in collaboration with finance and operations to affect change. This role is responsible for directing accounting functions including maintaining accounting principles, practices, procedures and initiatives. Responsibilities also include the preparation of financial reports and present findings to top management. Leadership is also an integral part of this role, including planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance required, MBA and/or CPA preferred
- 5+ years' experience in a multi-site, manufacturing environment.
- Experience with SAP preferred; but experience with a major ERP is required.
- A self-starter who has the ability to make effective and persuasive presentations and respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries.
- Proven accomplishments with team building and employee mentorship is a critical criteria for consideration.
