We are looking for qualified candidates to fill the below position at the World Bank.

 

ITSWE has an immediate need for one Windows System Administrator Level 3 to supplement the current support resources and also carry out extensive day-to-day operations in running World Bank Group’s Windows Server Infrastructure. Duties and accountabilities include:

1.     Provide day to day support for World Bank Group’s Microsoft Windows Server and Active Directory infrastructure

2.     Build Windows servers on physical and virtual platforms

3.     Provide routine operations and maintenance of all Microsoft Windows servers.

4.     Coordinate with business units and IT staff in HQ and country offices, proposals for upgrade and or implementation of new technologies/services as well as procurement of hardware and software.

5.     Provide remote assistance and support to IT staff in HQ and country offices and end-users when necessary

6.     Participate in patch management and security administration for Microsoft Windows servers.

7.     Determine the impact of requirements on the existing architecture, systems, and work processes. Work with affected areas to ensure the proper review/communication of requirements and integration.

8.     Determine infrastructure system specifications for hardware/software compatibility, in close collaboration with other ITS teams and the Office of Information Security.

9.     Perform troubleshooting for security incidents that require software and network forensic analysis, in close collaboration with other ITS teams.

10.   Participate in audits, as needed, producing necessary documentation, reports and explanations. Assist with the definition and implementation of corrective measures aimed at correcting possible findings.
