Tonight: Grassroots Alexandria Monthly Action Meeting!

When: Thursday, March 5, 7-9pm
Where: 3801 Mt Vernon Ave (TWU building), 22305

This will be a joint meeting of project leaders and team members working
on Alexandria Human rights, Pro-democracy action, Education, our
Environment, Housing Equity, and Transportation Equity.

We will be updating each other on immediate concerns, such as local
school policies, the housing master plan update, previously
under-represented human rights concerns (Palestine and more), and ICE in
Alexandria. We will discuss ongoing projects: tenant protections,
climate/environment, transportation, human rights, and much more.

This month will be structured similarly to the meeting held in February,
where the first half will be check-ins, updates and calls to action from
each team, and general touching base and welcoming of any new team
members.

For the second half of the meeting, we'll be conducting an interactive
workshop around the topic of Grassroots Alexandria's website: what we
like, what improvements could engage more people, among other topics.
