Check out these upcoming events and sign up for as many as you can. We need all hands on deck for gun safety in our community!   Don't forget to bring a friend! We can't wait to see you there. ACPS School Board Meetings Join us as we continue to demand action from the Alexandria City Public Schools (ACPS) school board, asking them to pass a secure storage resolution. Wear your red shirt!    Dates: Thursdays, May 9 and May 23 Time: 6:15-8:00pm Location: 1340 Braddock Pl RSVP for May 9 RSVP for May 23 Postcard Parties for GSCs We continue to partner on a monthly basis with Postcards From Alexandria (formerly Postcards4VA) to write postcards for gun sense candidates (GSCs). Bring a chair and a friend!   Dates: Saturday, May 18 Time: 10am-12pm Location: Firehook Bakery, 430 S Washington St Learn More + RSVP Community Cookout Tabling Join us as we table in the neighborhoods most impacted by gun violence, distributing Be SMART and One Thing You Can Do information along with free gun locks!   Dates: Weeknights through late July Time: 5:30-7:30pm Location: Varied Learn More + RSVP Questions?
